Bitter Gourd gravy | Side dish for IDIYAPPAM / Semige | Healthy eating

Benefits of Bitter Gourd:

Cures hangovers and cleanses the liver.

Prepration steps:

STEP 1 :

Cut Bitter Gourd into small pieces.

STEP 2 :

Add 1 cup Grated coconut , 10 to 15 Red chillies and 1/2 cup Urad Dhal and stir fry.

STEP 3 :

Add 3 cups tamarind puree water 1 spoon turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Let it boil. Once boiled add chopped Bitter Gourd.

STEP 4 :

add the fried ingredients on a mixer jar a d form a paste.

Step 5 :

After 5 minutes of cooking add 1 cup jaggery and boil for 5 minutes.

Add the grinded paste and cook for 5 minutes.

Add coconut oil 2 spoon before switching off stove.

Add 2 bunch of curry leaves .

Your Gravy is ready to serve.

SERVE IT HOT WITH IDIYAPPAM
