INGREDIENTS

Moongdal batter:
Moong dal – 2cups
Oil
Water
Rice flour -2tbs
Salt

Chutney:
Coconut sliced – 1cup
Green chillies – 4
Mint leaves – 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves – 1/4cup
Tamarind – 1 small piece
Cumin Seeds – 1/2tbs
Garlic cloves – 2
Salt
water

PREPARATION
Batter:
1.Thoroughly wash moong Dal and soak in water for about 1 hour
2. Add moongdal, rice flour, salt & water to grinder jar
3. Make a smooth paste and set aside

Making PESARATTU
1. Pour batter on dosa pan and evenly spread it to give it a round shape.

2. Pour oil or butter over it and cook for 2mns

3. Once the color changes to slight golden brown, remove and transfer to the plate.

Chutney
1. Dry roast sliced coconut.

2. Pour little oil and fry green chillies, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, tamarind.

3.. Add mint leaves, coriander and roasted ingredients to grinder jar.

4. Add salt, pour water and make a smooth paste.

Serve PESARATTU with Chutney
