The recently announced new Amazon Halo brings a new kind of Health and Fitness band to the market. It is not a smart watch, you can’t tell time with it and it doesn’t even have a screen. But it brings some new features that other smart bands and trackers don’t. Features to help your overall health and well being. First is the Activity tracker that uses a point system based on the type of exercise you do. Next is the Body composition tools that use your phones camera to generate a 3D model and analyze your body fat. Halo offers Tone Analysis that will listen to how you speak and give it a rating based on mood. Halo offers sleep tracking that will tell you the various levels of sleep you were in throughout the night. Then there is tips to help your health using the lab features.
