I’ve been getting a lot of requests for a “what I eat in a day” video, and since I’m a huge advocate of plant based nutrition, I figured I’d make a video showing what I eat to keep strong and healthy on a plant based diet. What I eat varies a lot from day to day based on what’s in season and on sale, but the things I target consistently are:

– Predominantly plant based foods
– Variety of color in these foods
– Raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds

I want to make it clear that my channel is NOT a vegan channel. I am not vegan and I welcome people who eat any diet to Minus The Gym.
And although I don’t like the idea of animals being raised for slaughter, I admit the main reason why I eat this way is for the health benefits, the energy, and the overall sense of well being I get from it. I’m selfish like that 😉

The main message I want to get across in this video is that my own experience – and all the research I’ve read – has shown me that the more plant based foods we eat, the better off our health will be. You don’t need to be exclusively plant based, either. By simply adding MORE fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes and whole grains to your diet, you can improve your health dramatically. It’s not an all-or-nothing thing like some people say here on YouTube.
